Hoogleraar politicologie Paul Frissen betoog vanuit een niet-christelijke visie welke problemen de huidige ontwikkelingen t.a.v. actieve en vrijwillige levensbeëindiging, euthanasie en voltooid leven, hebben. In zijn ogen is de dood meer een staatszaak en geen zaak voor de medische beroepsgroep.
